Because when adulting starts to feel like sandpaper down my throat

When she posts too much about her other friends online
I really hope that they chew their food with their mouths open and don’t like Fleabag

They don’t understand how she is 51% prodigy, 21% seductress, 20% people pleaser and 8% plain stupid

I would tell her when she is making all the wrong choices
After I clean up her mess

She would tell me if I have lipstick on my teeth
After laughing at me for a minute

I know all her firsts

I know she would not call me

She knows I would not call her either

We are both overly emotional, self-centred, egoistic, obsessive and dramatic
And we love each other not in some best friends forever kinda way
But in a very I want you to win at life even if I am not around to celebrate your victory kinda way

She thinks we are too old to have best friends and still she does not deny it every time I say
